Moments I have enjoyed lately

I think people who get me, realise that life truly is a series of often tender, awkward, painful, pleasurable and hopefully memorable moments.

Maybe why that’s why I adore film, music, photography and art so much. The artist doesn’t really always matter to me (unless they are a dear friend!) but I have respect and awe for people who try to bottle magic.

It’s hard: the ego is a subtly chaotic and easily wounded animal, isn’t it?

Anyway, I have adored these moments in (recent) time and thought to share them with you:

- Being cooked a vegetarian feast

- Feeling the sun in my car in the early afternoon

- Finding bowls with small fish printed on them, at a garage sale

- Sharing a bath and stories at the same time

- Making a naughty video for the first time in a while ;)

- Gently navigating a complex drive and finding my rhythm/confidence

- Exploring a museum by myself and taking my time

- Seeing live music at the park in the rain

- Sharing food with beloved friends in the sun

- Exchanging hopeful messages with people I truly care about

I think there are more, but it was very warm and blissful to spend some moments reflecting on this :)
